UI String Quartet Residency Program

UI String Quartet Residency Program

The University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program continues a long tradition of fostering the highest level of string quartet playing and chamber music instruction at the University of Iowa. This exciting program  brings up to four nationally recognized string quartets to the University of Iowa School of Music annually for extended residences. These residencies include public performances and master classes and public presentations on the entrepreneurial aspects of a chamber music career. Students enrolled in String Chamber Music with Elizabeth Oakes at the University of Iowa have the opportunity to work closely with these visiting artists through coachings and master classes.
