Graduate Financial Aid and Scholarships

Woodwind section during orchestra rehearsal

Graduate students are considered for departmental assistantships and fellowships at the time of their audition. Most assistantships grant in-state tuition rates to non-residents and are renewable for two years for master's students and three years for doctoral students.

It is recommended that prospective graduate students seeking financial assistance submit completed applications no later than February 1.

Inquiries should be directed to the Academic Office of the School of Music.
