Student recital recordings, recording sessions and CD duplications
The Recording Studios are available to professionally record student recitals and recording sessions and can provide duplicate CDs of any concert in which you were a performer. Please complete the student recital form at least three weeks before your recital. A Recording Studios employee will contact you after your information is received. Please send the Recording Studios a copy of your program with approximate timings at least one week before the performance. To schedule a non-recital recording session, please complete the room request form. Please see rates for student recitals, recording sessions, and CD duplications for information on rates and policies.
The Recording Studios does not automatically record all performances. Large ensembles (Symphony Band, Concert Band, University Band, Band Extravaganza, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Kantorei, Camerata, University Choir, Women's Chorale, and Operas) will be automatically entered on our recording schedule. If you wish to have other faculty performances recorded, please indicate this on your faculty event form (log in with your Hawk ID and password).
If we receive the request for the recording of a faculty performance at least 3 weeks before the performance, there will be no charge for the audio recording and one copy of the cleaned-up CD. Additional copies of the cleaned-up CD and reference CDs are available at our standard charges. Please send the Recording Studios a copy of your program with approximate timings at least one week before the performance.
