Concerts pop up around Iowa City

An improv group will perform around 10:30 a.m. at Java House, 211 E. Washington St., Iowa City

Violinists will play sometime between 11 a.m. and noon at Bread Garden, 225 S. Linn St., Iowa City:

A brass quintet will play sometime between 6 and 7 p.m. inside Coral Ridge Mall, near the children's play area

A saxophone quartet will play around 12 p.m. at Culver's, 710 Highway 1, Iowa City

A piano trio will play around 4 p.m. at Von Maur, 115 Iowa River Landing Rd., Coralville
