Join the UI String Quartet Residency Program

The University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program continues a long tradition of fostering the highest level of string quartet playing and chamber music instruction at the University of Iowa.

This exciting new program will bring up to four nationally recognized string quartets to the School of Music annually for extended residences, which will include public performances, master classes, and public presentations on the entrepreneurial aspects of a chamber music career.

Students enrolled in String Chamber Music with Elizabeth Oakes will have the opportunity to work closely with these visiting artists through coaching and master classes.
