What is the thing you need to say the most? How do you imagine that statement could be realized in the most sticky and compelling way no matter what your medium is?

Davóne Tines, is heralded as an artist "changing what it means to be a classical singer (The New Yorker) and “[one] of the most powerful voices of our time” (Los Angeles Times), but how and why?

Adapted from the Harvard course in interdisciplinary storytelling he co-guest lectures with close collaborator, opera director and creator Zack Winokur, singer and creator Davóne Tines shares a structure for creative process that has guided his work through examples of his own creations from redefining concert rituals, to large scale musical theater works.
