Featuring Georgian chant on the ARP 2600 synthesizer.
Professor Matthew Arndt emcees the sixth of seven presentations of an intergalactic music poetics that explains every kind of musical sign in our universe. The focus is on disclosure, or the musical event. There will be a première screening of a video episode produced by Rabalais Productions with artisan animation by Media Productions Workshop. The program then features the première of a work for electronics by Dr. Arndt, adapting a three-voice sacred chant from the Republic of Georgia to the ARP 2600 synthesizer.
