Hawkeye Choir is an inclusive, non-auditioned, group singing experience at the University of Iowa that brings together students from the Music Therapy, UI REACH, and students from across campus in a supportive, collaborative musical community. As part of a class-based therapeutic group singing experience, students develop musicianship, leadership, teamwork, communication, and self-advocacy skills while sharing the joy of making music together. Through weekly rehearsals and performances, participants build meaningful relationships, gain confidence, and experience a strong sense of belonging in an environment that celebrates the strengths and contributions of all members.
Hawkeye Choir meets weekly on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm, with at least one performance per semester.
ALL students are welcome!
