Rita & La colombe
Sunday, April 13, 2025 2:00pm
The 2024-2025 opera season will close with a spring production of French One Acts: "La colombe" and "Rita." These obscure yet treasured pieces have enjoyed a recent resurgence in the opera canon. Gounod’s sparkling score accompanies a farcical tale of seduction, while Donizetti’s Rita takes a darkly comic look at power dynamics in relationships.

Sunday, April 13, 2025 2:00pm to 4:00pm
How do we feel for and lift up the soul of a place? How do we intentionally weave together those who are stoking it, in rest + play + dreaming?
