Kirsten Nelson, MA, MT-BC, is an instructional professor and coordinator of clinical activities in music therapy.

Dr. Nosikova is a graduate of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the University of Colorado.

Elizabeth Oakes, violist, is an active chamber musician, chamber music coach, and performer.  A dedicated teacher, Ms. Oakes currently runs the Chamber Music Residency Program at the University of Iowa and serves as the director of the University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program (UISQRP).

Volkan Orhon was a finalist and prizewinner in the Concert Artists Guild Solo Competition in New York City and was the co-first-place winner of the International Society of Bassists Solo Competition.

Dr. Damani Phillips is a native of Pontiac, MI, where he began playing at the age of 10. He currently serves as head of the Jazz Studies area and Associate Professor of African-American Studies at the University of Iowa.

Nathan Platte teaches courses on film music and other 20th- and 21st-century topics for the School of Music and Department of Cinematic Arts.
